Hi Brian,

The first time I watched you perform as a guest in Wavefest a few years ago, I immediately fell in love with your music. You are an amazing artist.  I hope you'll put together an album of all your greatest hits.  Keep up the great work!

Hey B, It is ROC again and I just want to clarify something from my previous statement. The show at the Capital Jazz fest was great if you wanted Funk. The full band was nasty, but I was not looking for that much funk Don't get me wrong you are a bad cat on stage. If I wanted funk that show was a 12 from 1 to 10. Still the guitar player cannot sing.

Hey B, first I want to say I have everyone of your CDs except the last one. I hate to burst your bubble but for me the CD is okay if you want the FUNK, don't get me wrong I love funk, I am a old school DJ and Funk & Smooth Jazz is what I play. This CD has a lot of singing but I guess you are doing what a lot of smooth jazz artist are doing(crossing over) real smooth jazz is becoming almost extinct just like the radio stations. This is so very sad because there is a large following out there.I like it when you play the smooth jazz. I have saw you in concert about 4 times and the last time at the Capital Jazz Fest I walked out because it was to much singing. The guitar player form EWF needs to stick to playing the guitar only. He can't sing and it made you sound very bad. Bring back the smooth jazz sounds that I am used to from you. I love it when you play the 88 and that Bome. These statements are my personal opinion.   A fan on the edge!!

The band was hot, it brought back memories of the bad ass bands such as Tower of Power ,Earth Wind and Fire. The new cd is the best thing to date from your God given talent. Brian love the Horns!!! Keep that going! Looking forward to seeing you agian later this summer!

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!

I drove 7 hours from Las Vegas to Temecula, CA to see Brian at the Pechanga Casino and Brian, you have out done yourself on this tour!  In my 6 years of attending your concerts in Las Vegas, the Funk Experience concert, by far, is the absolute best concert you have produced.  It was sooooooo good. From the horn section to the saxophone player, Marqual (spelling?), by the way you need to produce a CD for Marqual, it was absolutely wonderful!!!!  Brian you perfomed like you never have before.  You are such a deliberate player on the keyboards and once you get started, you become one with it.  All I could do was just sit in my chair in awe of your performance.  I can't wait to see you again here in Las Vegas in September.

Congratulations on the CD being #1 for two weeks.  You deserve it!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time after your concerts to get to know us, your fans.  We love it!

Terri

My man BC, I bought "Bringing BackThe Funk" while in Bama last week and spent a long time on the road with it, you know what, you did bring back the funk. My fav is "The Groove" and "Funkin Like My Father" not discounting the others. You have always been my favorite key-boardest, the problem is I live in Buffalo NY and I'm sure I'll never get to see you here. I think I did suggest to you awhile back in an e-mail that you do some funk, a remake of stuff from James Brown, I knew you had it in ya. BC, keep up the good work.

Congrats on being #1!!!!! You've been top of my list from the first time I saw you perform many years ago. Now everyone knows what I've known for some time. Yesturday I got great seats to see you in Dayton, second row center stage. I CAN NOT WAIT!!!! Last time I took my daughter and we danced all night long. Had a great time. Shes begging me to take her again. One of my favorite songs on your new album is House of music. Everytime I hear it I think it would be a great theme song. House of Music (Byfaiths theme song) I hope you put it on your list to play at the Fraze.

LOVE YA

Brian,

It's Glenda from Houston. It was great seeing you at the Seabreeze Jazz Festival in Florida.  As you know we no longer have the wave here, so I just listen to all your CD's.  To bad Bringing Back the Funk wasn't out yet, so you could have autographed it for me.  But I did buy it as soon as it came out.  Hope to see you in Houston soon.

Well!! Mr. Culbertson I see you don't cotton to the South. You "Yankees" think that y'all corner the market on funky jazz sounds. Well, just let me tell you we (I) relish in the idea of gettin on down with the funk and turning it out and loose. I would like to graciously invite you to Houston, Texas. Please, if you would, sir, please schedule one of your baddddd funk concerts in our fine city. I would love to see y'all get with the buggee, set the roof on fire, and back that thing up. Don't take this conversation wrong, son, but I am in my on way begging you to please stop and slide on into our fine city, Houston, Texas, and I will be on the front row to let you know. I think you are a very decent, intelligent young man. And the reason I called you son is because I have a daughter your age. And just because I'm from old-school doesn't mean I can't get jiggy with it. Like I tell my children, the only reason you know how to dance and buggee is because when you were only a gleam in God's eye, I was tearing up the dance floor. YeeeHah!! Thoughtly yours, Deborah E. Venzant

Hey "B". It's Sharon. I got your new CD yesterday, and it is too funky for words. What a great selection of Funky music. Thank you so much for adding "Voices Inside". That is one of my favorite Donny Hathaway Songs. You lost your mind again with this CD. Thanks again, and keep Funkin'. Love you much.
